Which Furbo tile adhesive should I use?
Use XD15 for internal floors and XD30 for internal walls and floors. Use XD55 for exteriors, swimming pools and tile on tile. Use XD90 for glass mosaic, marble, granite and other demanding work. For difficult sites, ask Furbo before you start.
How much area does a 20 kg bag of tile adhesive cover?
A 20 kg bag covers approximately 55 to 60 sq. ft. at 3 mm thickness with a thin-bed trowel. Actual coverage depends on the surface and the method of application, so surfaces should be clean, smooth, plumb and level.
When should I choose epoxy grout over cement grout?
Choose epoxy where chemical resistance and hygiene matter. Furbo Epoxy XD100 is impervious and hard-wearing, and it does not let bacteria or dirt into the joint. For everyday wall and floor joints, Tile Grout and Golden Tile Grout are polymer-modified, water-resistant options.
Are Furbo tile adhesives ISI marked?
Furbo tile adhesive packs carry the ISI mark under IS 15477, with licence number CM/L-7900120862, for adhesives used with ceramic, mosaic and stone tiles. Packs also state that Furbo is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company.
What is the shelf life of Furbo products?
Tile adhesives have a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture, and Tile Grout and Golden Tile Grout have 24 months, both in unopened condition. Store them in a cool, dry place.
